Day 1 – Aussuan

Marsa Alam - Aswan (Aswan; the Pearl of Egypt) Bus trip from Marsa Alam to Aswan approx. 4 hours and 30 minutes. In Aswan drive to the large Aswan Dam. Continue by motorboat to Angelika Island and visit the Phillae Temple. Afterwards we drive to the granite quarries and visit the unfinished obelisk. Lunch takes place in a typical Egyptian restaurant. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 2 – Abu Simbel

(Abu Simbel) At around 3:00 a.m. we travel by bus to the rock temples of Abu Simbel, where we experience the miracle of the sun at sunrise and visit the two temple complexes. We will then drive back to Aswan, where we will have lunch before heading back to the hotel.
