Luxor 1 day trip

Explore with us the Valley of the Kings, the largest burial site of the Egyptian pharaohs with over 60 tombs. The tomb of the most famous pharaoh Tutankhamun is also included. We then continue to the famous Colossi of Memnon, which once guarded the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut with the impressive mountain background.

After lunch in a small, cozy local restaurant right on the Nile, you drive across the Nile to East Thebes, where you visit the magnificent temple complex of Amun-Re, the Temple of Karnak. Today the Karnak Temple in Luxor is a world heritage site and is one of the best-preserved temples you can encounter on your Egypt trip. If you wish, you can also take a detour to Banana Island (not included in the excursion price). There you will have time to look around the island, explore a banana plantation, taste the delicious Egyptian bananas and learn a lot of interesting facts about the yellow fruit.

In the late afternoon you leave this great city with many magical impressions and drive back to your holiday hotel. You will arrive back at your beach hotel around 8 p.m. Your individual tour away from mass tourism gives you a very special insight and brings you closer to today's Egypt and that of times past than you can ever experience in large tour buses.

Early in the morning (around 5 a.m.) we will pick up you  from your hotel in a limousine or minibus and head directly to Luxor. Our minibus is clean and you have plenty of legroom. During the journey we will have chilled drinks ready for you and will take a break of around 30 minutes on the way. You can have a packed lunch put together at your holiday hotel for the journey. The reception at your hotel will be happy to help you.

Another advantage of the individual tour with Wow Excursions is that you can sleep longer before the excursion and arrive back at your hotel quicker , as you don't have to travel to as many hotels. We recommend sturdy, comfortable shoes and sun protection for this excursion.
