3 day trip to Cairo, Bahariya Oasis and white desert

Day 1:

On the first day, we will pick up you  at around 3:00 a.m. in an air-conditioned vehicle and set off from Hurghada to Cairo, a distance of approximately 430 km (Marsa Alam to Cairo is 680 km). Halfway through the journey we take a break at a rest stop to refresh ourselves.

We reach Cairo around 7:30 a.m. First we visit the Egyptian Museum and then we drive to the Pyramids of Giza. After we visit the pyramids, we will have lunch and then continue to your booked hotel.

After dinner we drive to Old Cairo and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere at El Moez Street and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. It is an unforgettable experience that should definitely not be missed.

Day 2:

On the second day, we will pick up you  from your hotel in Giza or Cairo at 06:00 to drive to Bahariya Oasis, located approximately 350 km west of Cairo. The drive from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis takes about 3 hours and we take a break halfway.

At around 9:00 a.m. we reach the Bahariya Oasis and transfer to a four-wheel drive jeep (4×4). This is where our adventure in the Sahara begins.

We drive to the Black Desert and start by visiting Al Marsous mountain, where we will admire the 150 million year old lava stones.Then we climb the panoramic mountain to take a look at the Black Desert from above and enjoy the wonderful silence of the desert.

At around 1:00 p.m. we have lunch in the El Haize oasis. We then drive through the Agabat Valley into the ancient desert to take impressive shots of the limestone formations.

The Valley of Agabat was under the sea millions of years ago. Over time, unique and amazing rock formations were formed from limestone, chalk and sand. Seven dinosaur skeletons were also discovered in this valley.

At around 5:00 p.m. we reach Egypt's White Desert, a national park that is considered one of the most famous nature reserves in the desert. At around 6:00 p.m., while our driver sets up the tents for our overnight camp, we can enjoy the sunset.

At 6:30 p.m., when the sky glows pink, a mystical atmosphere arises and silence reigns everywhere. Sitting by the small fire and enjoying a simple meal of chicken, rice and vegetables, you'll feel like nothing has ever tasted so good. The Bedouins prepare a delicious dinner for us and arrange desert camping.

Day 3:

On the third day we experience a breathtaking sunrise at 6:00 a.m. as we look out of our tents. At around 7:00 a.m. we enjoy our breakfast in the desert before heading back to the Bahariya Oasis.

On the way back we visit Crystal Mountain, locally known as Gebel al-Izzaz, around 9:00 am. This impressive hill on the right is covered in quartzite crystals and is often referred to as the Jewel of the Desert. A few decades ago, this natural wonder was discovered and it shines in the sun's rays in a fantastic way.

At 11:00 a.m. we will return to Bahariya Oasis and have the opportunity to swim in a natural sulfur spring known for its healing properties for rheumatic diseases and skin problems. At around 12:00 p.m. we take a relaxing drive through the date palm plantations until we reach the Englishberg. There we climb the mountain to enjoy the beautiful views of the entire oasis and take great photos.

At around 3:00 p.m. we set off for Cairo and drive back to Hurghada .
