Located south of Marsa Alam Airport, Abu Dabbab is one of the most popular bays in the area.
The beach is also known as “Turtle Bay” and is one of the most beautiful beaches Marsa Alam has to offer. Excellent snorkeling opportunities await directly from the beach with 2 beautiful coral reefs with lots of fish, guitar sharks, blue spotted rays, turtles and - if you're really lucky - manatees.

Important information: Depending on the location of your hotel, we will pick you up in an air-conditioned vehicle around 4:30/5:30 a.m.
Abu Dabbab Bay is located approximately 296 km south of Hurghada in Marsa Alam. The journey to Abu Dabbab takes approximately three hours. The bay is located on the coastal road that connects Marsa Alam and Hurghada. On the way to Abu Dabbab we also stop for a coffee break, then we continue to Abu Dabbab.
The Bay of Abu Dabbab is one of the most beautiful in Egypt. This excursion is also perfect for less experienced snorkeling fans and children, as you can start your snorkeling adventure directly from the beach. Our on-site tour guide will show you where the turtles are. Admire the colorful and well-preserved coral reefs and keep an eye out for colorful fish and other marine life. Fascinating giant turtles live in “Turtle Bay”, which you can marvel at while snorkeling. With a bit of luck, manatees can also be spotted.
After the snorkeling session we will enjoy lunch directly at the bay. Additional drinks and snacks are available at the beach bar. There is also a diving center there. After lunch you have the opportunity to simply sit back and relax or venture out to another beach for a snorkeling adventure.
At around 3:00 p.m. we will set off again towards Hurghada and bring you back to your hotel after an adventurous and unforgettable day.
